Having full control of your domain names is something quite crucial and being able to access and edit the DNS records for every one of them is among the things you should look for when you search for a registration or a shared hosting provider. Perhaps you have heard about the so-called “name servers” that show where a domain is hosted, but below them there is also a whole set of records, for example the A record, which is the IP address of the server hosting the site, and the MX records, which show the server that manages the e-mails for a particular domain address. These records are employed if you would like have your web site with one service provider and the emails with another, as an illustration. You could also use a domain for a non-website service or direct the traffic to it using special records. Some companies ask for an extra payment to give access to edit particular DNS records apart from the name servers.

Full DNS Management in Shared Hosting

You'll have total control over the DNS records of your domains and subdomains with any of our shared plans. Via the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, you'll be able to access an easy-to-use tool where you can see all existing records or set up new ones with no more than a few clicks. As well as the standard A and MX records, you can set up CNAME, TXT, SRV, and you could also set up private name servers for any domain which is registered through our company. The custom records will offer you a lot of overall flexibility and will allow you to do things like hosting a subdomain on our servers while the main Internet domain is hosted elsewhere or vice versa, using a third-party e-mail service, etc. We'll never ask for any fees from you to be able to manage the DNS records of your domain names and the service comes by default with all shared plans.

Full DNS Management in Semi-dedicated Servers

The semi-dedicated plans are managed through our in-house designed Hepsia hosting CP and one of its features is an easy-to-use DNS records tool where you're able see all present records for each domain or subdomain that you host within the account. With simply a few mouse clicks you're going to be able to change any existing record or create a new one when you need it for any purpose. This will allow you to select the provider for each individual service - for example, for a given Internet domain you could have the website here, the e-mails through a second provider plus a VOIP service that employs the same Internet domain as a host through a third one. Our system will allow you to modify or set up any type of records you need - NS, A, MX, CNAME, TXT, SRV, AAAA, and so on., and we will never ask you for any fee to be able to access and manage these records as other providers may do.
