Using the JailHost option will never be a substitute for performing frequent script updates or using proper passwords, but it will minimize the damage to your Internet sites significantly, so you will have to fix only one website not all of them.

JailHost in Shared Hosting

In case you host your sites within a shared hosting account from our firm, you will be able to protect them using the JailHost option with just a few clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel. This feature is available with all plans and can be activated for every folder since the domains and subdomains in Hepsia have different folders, so that files for different websites never get mixed up like it frequently happens with other Control Panels. We have not activated JailHost by default as you could use scripts that require access to folders outside the primary site folder and this option may interfere with their correct operation, but protecting all the other folders is really easy. In case any protected site gets hacked for whatever reason, we'll be able to restore it very quickly as we will have multiple daily backups of your entire account and you will even be able to view the available backups from Hepsia.

JailHost in Semi-dedicated Servers

If you have a semi-dedicated server account, you can activate JailHost with a couple of clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel as we have included this feature in all of our semi-dedicated packages. It is not activated by default because you might use an app which requires accessibility to other folders within the account and JailHost could potentially cause problems, however you can protect all other Internet sites by isolating them from each other. It is simple and easy because in Hepsia all domains and subdomains have individual folders. In comparison, a number of other Control Panels keep the content of multiple websites in subfolders under a main domain, so one hacked site there will mean that all of them will be hacked.
